At a five minutes drive from the resort is the boarding station, where guests enjoy canoeing and explore the jungle and it’s abundant wildlife, including different types of deers, monkeys, wild boars,
bisons, sloth bears, the famous one-horned rhinoceros, and if lucky, even leopards and the Royal Bengal
tiger as well. There are also rare faunas and over 200 species of birds in the area that can be observed
during the safari.
The whole experience lasts for 2-3 hours, after which the guests will return to the resort.
Tharu Village Walk
The Tharu people are indigenous to the area, and their culture is very unique, different from what can be
found in Nepal or even India.
Guests can immerse into the local culture by strolling through the local Tharu village. This also includes a
visit to the Tharu Cultural Museum. During this walk our naturalist will also brief them about the social
and cultural aspect of the villagers and their lifestyle.
